Description | This is a very challenging target, especially as I was hoping to see the "squid". Subsequently learned mostly imaged by narrow band observers with an Ha filter. Almost impossible to image on a moonlit night, which this was, with an OSC camera. Some day will try again. The "flying bat" is there, although I think I prefer the Springbok nebula. The right wing looks exactly like the Springbok logo. They went on to win the 2023 Rugby World Cup, so perhaps an omen. |
