DescriptionA William Herschel discovery from October 1784. This is an object I've returned to many times, several of which you can see by clicking on the "Related Observations" button on this listing. I've kept my first observation out of nostalgia: it was one of the last observations I accomplished with my first telescope, an Evo 9.25, lost to an accident. This was the last observation of an evening that included high quality observations of M110 and NGC 772. The quality of the calibration frames (flats and dark flats) is much improved. At this time I still didn't "get" how to control SharpCap's live display, and was capturing the raw frames, restacking in ASTAP, and finishing in Affinity Photo.
