About this Site

Our logo is a stylized version of this photo, taken from the deck of my house during a partial lunar eclipse using my iPhone. The deck, and more recently a pier built in the back yard, is where I do almost all of my observing.

I’ve developed this website mostly for my own use. I’m trying to create a comprehensive database of all of my observations, so I can figure out of targets I’ve missed or want to return to.

I’m also starting to participate in some observing programs at the Astronomical League, and will use this site to document what I’ve done there.

Anyway, it’s been one of the great joys of the last few years to figure out how to do this EAA thing, and to observe the heavens from my back yard. Thank you for visiting!
