| Description | A revisit prompted by the CN EAA Challenge. With nearly 2x the integration time, using mono imaging instead of one-shot color, and using the telescope at f/7 instead of f/10, this captures roughly 12x as much light as the 2025 image. So the image is MUCH deeper, and allows you to see (barely) a dwarf galaxy - nearly black - lining up to merge (left side). For convenience, I provide one image from the original capture in the gallery. |
