| Description | An abortive attempt, my first with the Askar V (my first attempt to use an EQ mount). Actually looking at it in hindsight, I actually did capture the supernova. There was awful drift, but not TOO bad for my very first time trying to polar align. I probably was attempting to guide, but hadn't set it up properly. Many of the stars, even close to the center, are egg-shaped. But if you crop out the drift, it's not awful. |
