Description | I returned to this target using my Askar V, which is much more appropriate. You see a portion of M24's star cloud to the upper right of this image, which is one of the densest portions of the Milky Way. This is located within the constellation Sagittarius, which, from the Catskill region, we see close to the horizon in the southern sky. 13 minute capture. I can get very little time on this target given how low it is on my horizon. When I started this capture the left side was actually in the trees. In the gallery you'll see an earlier imags was centered on the small, open cluster NGC 6603 taken with my EdgeHD. |
