| Description | Captured on a full moon night that started somewhat smoky but improved as the night wore on. This is a fascinating galaxy, highly asymmetrical with an extended tail to the upper right, and a oddly configured arm in the lower left. The spiral pattern, while evident, is choppy (hence flocculent). |
