DescriptionThis is a challenging target, part of the CN EAA Sept 24 challenge, a pair of emission nebula located 8,000 light years away in the constellation of Cassiopeia. Sh2-152 is the small bright nebula on the lower right. On the upper-left is the much larger but fainter Sh2-153. Both of these objects are the same distance away and appear to be connected. The difference in surface brightness makes this particularly challenging. I imaged this in a much wider view with my Askar V a few days before this capture. You'll see it in the gallery as well.
