| Description | A patchy, high cloud layer made this evening less than ideal. I had to loosen the brightness filter to capture enough information to make a go of this. The target itself bears more than a passing resemblance to the Rosette Nebula, with the little open cluster, NGC 6820 neatly centered. NGC 6820 is a tiny, magnitude 15 reflection nebula that is hard to pick out without the assistance of the annotated image.. |
