Description | It was a beautiful morning the day after reports of Aurora Borealis being visible as far south at Hawaii. We'd had a cloudy night, so nothing to see from the Catskills the prior evening. But I plunked the Seestar on the deck and captured this image of the sun with HUGE sunspots, evidence that we are at or near the peak of solar activity in its 11 year cycle. |
