Observed on
Kid brother to Heart Nebula; soul is the faithful companion, often cropped…

IC 1396 / Burning Woman Nebula

Observed on
One of my absolute favorite targets, better known as the Elephant’s Trunk Nebula, but I feel this name is more apt.

M71 / Angelfish Cluster

Observed on
Looks like an open cluster, but it’s NOT! Observed on an evening with terrible seeing causing misshapen stars.

One of my all time favorite galaxies… early observation with EdgeHD 8″
