Description | This is a lovely star-scape inconsistently catalogued. Many sources catalog the small open cluster and the reflection nebula as NGC 7129 and 7133 respectively. NGC 7142 refers to the larger open cluster slightly down and to the right. However, many other sources don't separately catalog 7129 and 7133, instead combining them as 7129. This is true for both SharpCap and SkySafari. Whatever, it's a beautiful section of the night sky and I was pleased to observe it last night, |
