DescriptionMy second time imaging 4725, but my first capturing the duet with 4712. Just lovely. The extended dust cloud extending the spiral arm at the bottom of 4725 appears consistent with a "fly by" by 4712 at some point.

The prior capture of 4725 was using a 294mc one-shot-color camera with 30m of integration not the 50m here. If you compare the two, the outer spiral arm is essentially invisible in the older image, due to the reduced sensitivity of a color sensor compared to monochrome, in addition to the longer integration.
