| Description | The CN September 25 Challenge was the excuse to revisit this favorite target, taking advantage of my new 2600mc camera, allowing me to image the full Cygnus Loop with the 270mm configuration of my Askar V. Applied some fairly sophisticated processing to the stretched .png including NoiseXTerminator and star reduction... I've included both reduced and original star images in the gallery, You obviously see the Veil more clearly with stars minimized, but you miss the larger point about where it's located when you do that. Two other visits linked. As this is a favorite Star Party target, I've visited it countless more times. |
