| Description | The Veil nebula is a legendary target and I've always felt my earlier captures didn't do it justice. This took advantage of a transparent but full moon night on a windy evening to capture a widefield view. Framed in NINA. Processed in Affinity Photo... This is a view of the entire Veil Nebula, which I prefer anyway. The western is roughly 2/3 of the image. The Easter Veil is the bright segment at the bottom of the loop, which is covered separately in another observation. |
